The old orchard hill slope at Penttilä
- the surviving apple trees still bear fruit.
The summer is warm and dry - the
days are long and, the farther north one goes, the nights vary from short
darkness to no darkness at all above the polar circle - on Penttilä the
fruit trees bloom and wildflower- and Wild Angelica blossoms appear in the
most unexpected places.
